Burnette receives high karate honors

The World Karate Union Hall of Fame recognized Kevin Burnette for his achievements recently during an awards ceremony.


On June 26 at the 15th Annual World


Karate Union Hall of Fame Awards Cer- emony, Master Tony Rogers and Sensei Kevin Burnette were inducted into the 2010 WKU Hall of Fame. Master Tony Rogers received the Golden


Lifetime Achievement Award of Honor. He is the owner of Full Circle Martial Arts in Marshall. Sensei Kevin Burnette re- ceived the Associate Instructor of the Year Award. He teaches at Full Circle Martial Arts and is the strength and conditioning


trainer. Tey each have over 30 years of experience in the martial arts and numer- ous black belts. Burnette is the son of Harriet and D.L.
