Persons had issued a Silver Alert for Johnathan Harold Grant early Tuesday morning (Oct. 26) after his family reported him missing to Weaverville police. He was last seen Saturday af- ternoon at the Waffle House on
Weaver Boulevard. Grant is be- lieved to be suffering from de- mentia or some other cognitive impairment. Sgt. Stacy Wyatt with the
Weaverville Police Department said Grant was waiting at the post office in Oteen for a check. His grandson located him, and Wy- att confirmed Grant did not need any medical attention.
