Kindermusik nurtures developing skills

much programming geared toward children is accompanied by an in- delibly catchy tune. Yvette Odell, who teaches a pro-


gram called Kindermusik at Joyful Noise Community Music and Arts Center in Weaverville, said chil- dren as young as five weeks old can sometimes recognize tunes, and their developmental patterns are wired to decipher the tonal center of a song. Kindermusik explores the musi-
