Brigadier General Brundidge is responsible for
providing EUCOM with the command, control, com- munication and computer (C4) systems capabilities necessary to prevent conflict, respond to crises, and conduct military operations. He was commissioned in 1979 as a graduate of the Air Force Academy. He directed software maintenance and develop- ment teams, led the Air Force Combat Command’s Network Division, and worked as a staff officer at Headquarters U.S. Air Force and the Joint Staff. He served as the director of Communications and Infor- mation for Pacific Air Forces at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, and the Air Combat Command. Previ-
ously, he served as deputy director of the Operational Support Modernization Program, secretary of the Air Force Office of Warfighting Integration, and chief information officer. He commanded three times at the squadron and group levels, culminating as the commander of the 3rd Combat Communications Group. Prior to his current assign- ment, Brig. Gen. Brundidge was deputy chief of staff, Communications and Information Systems, Multinational Force-Iraq.
MAJOR GENERAL ALFRED K. FLOWERS Deputy Assistant Secretary for Budget, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Financial Management and Comptroller
Major General Flowers is responsible for planning and direct- ing Air Force budget formulations annually that total more than $160 billion. He leads a staff of civilian and military financial managers who develop, integrate and defend Air Force resource requests to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Office of Management and Budget, and Congress. He manages and executes funding that supports military operations and Air Force priorities at the direction of the secretary of Defense and Congress. General Flowers was commis- sioned following graduation from Officer Training School as a distin- guished graduate of the December 1978 class. He first served as a budget officer at the squadron, ma- jor command and Air Staff levels.
In 1990, he was assigned as chief of the Budget Operations Division for Air Combat Command, where he would later serve as the chief of budget. The general has served on the Joint Staff as defense resource manager, and in 1999 he was the director of budget programs for the Department of the Air Force. He has also served as director, Center for Force Structure, Requirements, Resources and Strategic Assessments at Headquarters U.S. Special Operations Command, and as commander, Air Force Officer Accession and Training Schools. Prior to his current assignment, the general was commander, 2nd Air Force, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss.

Major General Hawkins helps lead
a global organization of more than 6,600 military and civilian personnel responsi- ble for planning, developing, and provid- ing global net-centric solutions that serve the needs of the president, secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, combatant commanders, and other defense compo- nents. Maj. Gen. Hawkins received his commission as a distinguished graduate of the ROTC program in 1977. He has held a variety of communications posi- tions, including assignment on the Joint Staff as support manager for command, control, communications and computer systems. He later served as director of C4 Systems for Joint Task Force–Southwest Asia. The general has commanded Cadet Squadron 24 at the U.S. Air Force Acad- emy; Air Combat Command’s Computer Systems Squadron and Communications Group; and Air Force Officer Accession and Training Schools at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. He has served as the director of communications and informa- tion, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces; director of communications operations, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Installations and Logistics, Headquarters U.S. Air Force; and director, infra- structure delivery, Office of Warfight- ing Integration, and chief information officer, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force. General Hawkins has also been deputy chief of staff, Communications and Information Systems, Multinational Force-Iraq.
