T W O
hat a great Christmas party
we had at the Lodge on the 9th. December. It was as it should be ,with a nice relaxed atmosphere in comfort- able surroundings with lots of good fellowship.
nce again the Lodge did us
proud by putting on a wonderful carvery.
A
he evening was rounded off with a
fantastic cabaret. This was provided by Brian‘s beautiful and talented daughter Alli- son.
llison entertained us with a wonder-
ful selection of songs and topped them off with a collection of an- ecdotes and Poems which had the mem- bers in fits of laughter.
A
llison is a great entertainer and it
was most enjoyable accompanying her. In case he gets to read this I would like to thank Ralph Wells, the head of the art faculty at Hall Mead School for once again letting us have the use of his own electric piano.
W P R otarian Mike wins the race to get to the gravy first.
