nspired Gaming Group provides one of the most widely used Server Based Systems with over 25,000 networked terminals around the world and is one of the leading suppliers of Electronic Roulette to casinos and of VLT slots in Italian mini- casinos. Casino Life caught up with Luke recently to find out some of the contributing reasons for the company’s continued success in what is a very competitive niche area of the industry.

What are the key aspects of working at Inspired over the years that most impress you about the organisation and why?
Inspired, in its various forms, has been on an incredible journey over the last ten years. From a corporate point of view, we have been through challenging economies, public listings, acquisitions and international expansion. But what always impresses me is the calibre of our people behind our innovative products: the management team, developers, designers and engineers are what makes Inspired successful.
We consistently produce the most advanced software and are committed to continuous innovation.
Not one person rests on their laurels – we invest an incredible amount in R&D, which means we are always looking to the future and the new and exciting ways we can support the transformation of the gaming industry.
What are the principal benefits, in your opinion, of having a parent company such as the private equity company Vitruvian Partners?
We have recently been acquired and refinanced by one of the largest and most significant private equity funds in Europe, Vitruvian Partners. We’ve found a perfect partner in Vitruvian and this move has put us in a very stable position with cash to invest in our continued development and growth. Inspired is in a significantly stronger position with the backing of a Euro five billion private equity fund, but it isn’t just capital that Vitruvian brings: their expertise in growing technology companies and enthusiasm towards the business and management team are invaluable qualities that will strengthen Inspired as a company.
