Italians love Sex in the City!
International Game Technology has announced that their Sex and the City™ slot is performing very well in Italy and establishing a strong and loyal player base. The game was initially installed in Italy in May 2010 and is quickly becoming one of the country’s most popular video slots.
“IGT’s Premium Products are always a hit with players but the Sex and the City™ slot’s popularity is unparalled,” said Luca Frigerio, Casino de la Vallee, CEO. “Some players queue to play and others stand by and fill the alley where the games are just to share in the excitement.”
Officially licensed by HBO Licensing & Retail, Sex and the City™ slot machines are available in dozens of casinos across the globe. The game recently became the current #1 leading standalone progressive MegaJackpots® game on casino floors today.
“The Sex and the City™ slots are experiencing more than 2X increased play than average games at Casino de la Vallee,” said Ron Babini, Sales Manager, IGT Europe. “As a result, the customer ordered five additional units to be added to the mix of the soon-to-be-opened new gaming room.”
Another strong feature of the game is its MultiPLAY four-game format. “The new IGT MultiPLAY concept is a clear play motivator, especially here in the Italian market,” explains Graziano Grosjacques, Casino de la Vallee, Gaming Director. “Adding MultiPLAY to already successful multi-level progressive and bonus concepts make this game a complete winning formula.”
Latin American Round Table

technologies and their potential impact on each regulator’s individual jurisdiction.”
