Pokerpro casino lifes Peter Rubin catches up with Pokertech’s Tim Klok

Let’s start with a general overview of PokerTech’s development and approach to the industry, can you summarise the products and services which you have on offer?

PokerPro is our flagship product, and is the leading automated poker table in the market. It plays all of the popular variations of poker, with an unlimited ability to configure games, limits, buy-ins and rules based on each casino’s need. We’ve made hundreds of automated poker tables successful around the world. We know what it takes to run successful poker rooms, and work with our customers to help them accomplish this. We’ve also just released our new enhanced Multi-Table Tournament software, which gives operators unmatched control and visibility over large tournaments, and gives players the ability to track the tournaments standings, chip stacks and player rankings throughout the event. Operators can even run multi-day tournaments, similar to the structure of World Series of Poker events. It’s really amazing how

advanced the software has become, and how please our customers are with its capabilities.

Our newest product is currently in development, and is a 6-seated Blackjacktable on our new platform, called ProCore. Operators will find the same quality, advanced technology and security in this product as they do in PokerPro. The ProCore platform allows us to add new games in the future, to give operators ultimate flexibility in the table games pit. We’re starting with Blackjack because we’ve had several requests from existing customers for Blackjack on our automated platform, and we plan to have GLI approval for this product later this year.

What advice do you have for those just starting in the Casino Industry?

The only place where success comes before work is the dictionary.
