Natural Awakenings readers at their downtown Jacumba location. The store features Earth- friendly, handmade products. Spokesperson Margaret Blackbear describes the studio: “We are a native arts co-op. All our
sales benefit our artists, who make their living by doing their artwork.” The co-op is a green company, featuring many products made from recycled
materials. The craftsmen, many of whom are women and children, maintain their tribal customs and offer traditional products and contemporary items.
