A Day to Remember started back in 2001 from a small shop on Embankment Road in Plymouth, and has grown rapidly into one of the largest bridal establishments in the South West. Especially with its glass fronted entrance and spacious showroom that could easily pass for a stylish Gucci store plucked straight from the streets of Paris. The whole ambience of the establishment makes the bride feel special and their experience as pleasurable as possible. The pale green and ivory colours create a calming atmosphere along with the cream leather sofas to sit back and relax on.
Dominating the showroom is an impressive 25ft central platform mirror, which allows the bride to admire her gown from every angle. Customer service remains paramount at A Day to Remember, with Debbie and her team dedicated to ensuring each and every bride receives their undivided attention, in a friendly one-to-one consultation. Debbie and her staff are there to advise, not push and always make sure that the bride feels at home and relaxed with them.
A Day to Remember are one of Alfred Angelos’ premier stockists, other designers are Ronald Joyce, Jasmine, Forever Yours and Ellis. There is also a range of bridal gowns especially for the larger bride. The bridesmaids’ dresses, which they stock, are from Alfred Angelo and Ronald Joyce, with a huge colour palette to choose from. They also have a superb collection of veils and tiaras to complement each and every gown. At A Day to Remember you needn’t spend a fortune to look a million dollars, as they have gowns to suit all budgets.

entering the car park, A Day to Remember is situated on the left hand side and Sainsburys is on the right, so there is absolutely no problem finding a car parking space. No matter which direction your are travelling from - just look for the sails in the air and you will not be able to miss A Day to Remember bridal shop.
A Day to Remember has nominated “The Primrose Appeal” as their charity for the ensuring year, which means for every bridal gown sold, a donation will be made to the charity.
TOP TIPS
TIME - You need time, not only to choose your gown, but keep in mind that you will also need to allow time for your gown to arrive and time for fittings.
VISION - It’s best to have an idea of what style you would like - take along any pictures to help BUT don’t be put off if the consultant offers you a totally different style to try on. BUDGET - Keep an approximate figure in mind, it will save a lot of hassle going to shops out of your price range or being shown gowns which you cannot afford. TRYING ON GOWNS - When trying on wedding gowns, take along someone whose opinion you value but do not take along too many people as the gown will lose its impact on the day.
