Cano College. She developed her painting further in Argentina, then worked for a women’s charitable organisation in Bolivia, raising funds by painting wooden furniture and small objects. She is now involved with the running of Maison des Artistes in Paris, a government run organisation for the support of young artists.
Papillons, Laure Bury
College of Art in 2008. Prior to this she studied and subsequently worked at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts, London. She is director of Ocean Studios which is a not for profit company whose aim is to provide affordable studios for artists in Plymouth. She is working closely with the City Development Company and Arts Council England to ensure that the studios not only provide affordable space but vital equipment, workshops and business support for emerging and established artists. She is also working with a team who are organising the fringe aspects of the British Art Show, which comes to Plymouth in September 2011. Her research interests include feminist visual culture. Luz Angela lives in Paris
but is originally from Colombia where she trained at the Arturo Tejada
