GREENHAWK MARKDALE EQUI-FUN SCHEDULE FOR 2010 June 20 - Class #5 Trip to Wagner Blue Miniature Horses. We will be visiting a miniature horse farm where we will see foals and learn all about the miniature horse industry. Snacks there. We will arrange lunch. July 4 - Class #6 "All about the Rodeo" This lesson will be all about the rodeo and will be a preparation for our trip to the Holstein Rodeo. July 10 - Class # 7 " Holstein Rodeo Trip" Group will meet at the Rodeo and have an introduction and tour by organiz- ers.


July 24 - Class #8 " Trip to Georgian Downs". This is an afternoon/evening trip to the track with a tour of the barns and then we will watch some races. We will have dinner there or on route. August 8 - Class #9, "Taking The Lead" Video and demonstration on teaching a horse trust and knowing what is expected of them when properly positioning them- selves beside you. August 22 - Class # 10, Trip to "Traver- ston Arabians" A visit to an Arabian Farm to learn about the breed and meet some amazing horses. Picnic. September 5 - Class # 11 "All about Saddles" Understanding the different types of saddles and the disciplines that use them.


September 19 - Class #12 Awards Din- ner, BBQ & Pot Luck - Awards to be given to participants.

MISCELLANEOUS EVENTS June 19 - The 5th annual Jessica's Foot- print Walk in The Park in support of Toronto's Children's Hospital paediatric brain cancer research. The charity is named after 1 year old Jessica Durigon. Come out and try this new sport which compliments the sport of Horse Trials. "Short Course Eventing" expands the Combined Test format to include XC type fences in the jumping phase. This phase, stadium/cross-country, is a contin- uous run which starts and finishes in the stadium ring. It is an excellent opportuni- ty for: schooling, trying a new level, or introduction to Horse Trials.
