News from OBBO Committee, Our day at Trots and Slots

Once again another perfect day was in store for the OBBO’s Trots & Slots Fundraiser which was held on Saturday March 27th,2010. With 104 in atten- dance, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and all feedback to the committee members was positive. Mother Nature was again very co- operative and blessed us with a beautiful sunny day that was enjoyed by horses, drivers and spectators alike. Flamboro’s “Top of the Turn” dining room was warm, welcoming, and the food

was delicious – hopefully you got your fill.

Some guests reported win- nings on the horses and other on the slots. The energy and enthusi- asm demonstrated by participants is always refreshing and enjoy- able. It’s always good to hear screams when someone is rooting for their horse and laughter and cheers when someone’s horse comes in 1st. If you didn’t win, we hope you still had a good time - you are all winners in our eyes. Your participation has once again
