NASCAR CANADIAN TIRE SERIES SPONSORS AND SPECIAL AWARDS


In each NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 race, drivers compete for several special awards. These awards include the Autolite Spark Plugs Time To Change Your Position Award, the Coca-Cola Move Of The Race Award, the MAHLE Clevite Engine Builder Award, the Mobil 1 Command Performance Award, the Vtech Free Pass Award, and the Dodge-Mopar Fast Five Awards. In addition, series competitors, who drive a Dodge, compete for the year-end Mopar Top Dodge Cup Award.

VTECH SUMMARY OF THE 2010 SPECIAL AWARDS:


AUTOLITE SPARK PLUGS TIME TO CHANGE YOUR POSI- TION AWARD: Presented to the eligible driver who improves their finishing position the most, compared to the previous series race. In the event of a tie, the driver with the highest fin- ishing position in the current event will receive the award. The Autolite Spark Plugs Award winner for each race will receive $1,500. The driver who wins the most Autolite awards during the season will receive a year-end $5,000 award. • 2009 award recipient: NEW AWARD IN 2010.


COCA-COLA MOVE OF THE RACE AWARD: Presented to the eligible driver who improves the most number of positions from their starting position in each race. In the event of a tie, the driv- er with the highest finishing position in the event will receive the award. The Coca-Cola Move of the Race Award winner in each event will receive $1,000. The driver who wins the most Coca-Cola awards over the course of the season will receive a year-end award of $5,000. • 2009 Canadian Tire Series award recipient: Scott Steckly.


DODGE-MOPAR FAST FIVE AWARDS: Presented to the top five eligible Dodge-Mopar teams in each race. The Dodge- Mopar Fast Five Awards winners will receive a check, based on their overall finish in the event, $2,000 for being the top-finish- ing Dodge team, $1,500 for the second-highest finish and $1,000 for third with $750 and $500 going to the fourth and fifth-place Dodge teams, respectively. Winners of this award must compete with a Dodge Avenger body and apply Mopar and Dodge identification, as directed, to be eligible.


MOPAR TOP DODGE CUP AWARD: Presented to the top five Dodge-Mopar teams based on the final championship driver point standings. Mopar Top Dodge Cup Award winners will receive $5,000 for being the top-finishing eligible Dodge team in the final point standings, $4,000 for the second-highest finish and $3,000 for third with fourth and fifth-place teams earning $2,000 and $1,000, respectively. Winners of this award must compete with a Dodge Avenger body and apply Mopar and Dodge identification, as directed, to be eligible. • 2009 Canadian Tire Series award recipient: DJ Kennington.


MAHLE CLEVITE ENGINE BUILDER AWARD: Presented to the eligible team whose engine builder acquires the highest total of MAHLE Clevite points based on qualifying and finish- ing positions including a bonus for the most laps led in an event. In the event of a tie, the driver with the highest finishing position in the event will receive the award. The MAHLE Clevite Engine Builder of the Race Award winner in each event will receive $1,100. The team who collects the most MAHLE Clevite points over the course of the season will receive a year-end award of $5,000. • 2009 Canadian Tire Series award recipient: Andrew Ranger.


MOBIL 1 COMMAND PERFORMANCE AWARD: Presented to the highest-finishing eligible driver for each event. The Mobil 1 Command Performance Award winner will receive $1,500. The driver who wins the most Mobil 1 awards over the course of the season will receive a year-end award of $5,000. • 2009 Canadian Tire Series award recipient: Andrew Ranger.

VTECH FREE PASS AWARD: Presented to the eligible driver with the highest finishing position in the race that is awarded a “free pass” during the event. In the event of a tie, the driver with the highest finishing position in the current event will receive the award. The VTech Free Pass Award winner for each race will receive $1,000. The driver who win the most VTech awards over the course of the season will receive a year-end $5,000 award. • 2009 award recipient: NEW AWARD IN 2010.
