Your customers don’t have to suffer with low water pressure – you can provide the solution. A pressurised hot and cold system served by a Grundfos pressure boosting pump can satisfy the most demanding of requirements. Call for Boiler Scrappage Scheme to be Extended
Director Salvatore Cirasuolo believes the Boiler Scrappage Scheme is a worthwhile programme, he says much could also be achieved by extending it to inefficient electric heating systems;. “We believe that direct acting heating products are the future of electric heating,” said Mr Cirasuolo. “A similar scrappage scheme introduced, for example for antiquated storage heaters, would produce significant and quick savings.”

JS Air Curtains has supplied eight air curtains to the Welcome Break motorway services at Membury on the M4. The air curtains are helping to maintain internal temperatures even with the external doors in constant use. Five 2m Windbox air curtains and three HeatScreen air curtains are positioned at the front entrance, rear entrance and on some internal doorways. As well as keeping the heat in during the winter, they can also be used with the heaters off in the summer to prevent air conditioned air from escaping. The Windbox air curtain has a powerful output and can be used on doorways up to 3.5m high. It can be horizontally mounted above a doorway or vertically to the side. The units supplied to Welcome Break were white but the Windbox is available in any RAL colour to suit interior architecture.

Grundfos recently held an online competition on its popular online training website, the ecademy. A pop quiz was held every week and everyone’s names were entered into a final prize draw to win 500,000 points. The luck winner was Jim from Nemo’s plumbing in Maidenhead. Nemos have years of experience and offer a huge range of services from design, installation and maintenance. Lucky winner Jim chose £500 worth of Curry’s vouchers, which were delivered to him by Grundfos business manager, Anne Marie Rebbeck.
