A policeman stops a driver for going through a red light. The guy is a real prat and comes running back to the officer demanding to know why he is being harassed by the Gestapo! So the constable calmly tells him of the red light offence. The Motorist instantly goes on a tirade, questioning the officer's ancestry, sexual orientation, etc. in rather explicit terms. The tirade goes on without the constable saying anything. When he's finished writing the ticket he puts 'AH' in the lower right corner of the ticket. He then hands it to the 'offender' for his signature. The guy signs the ticket angrily and when presented with his copy points to the 'AH' and demands to know what it stands for. The constable says, 'That's so when we go to court, I'll remember that you're an A**hole!' Two months later they're in court. The 'offender' has such a bad driving record he is about to lose his license and has hired a solicitor to represent him. On the stand the constable testifies to seeing the man go through the red light. Under cross examination the solicitor asks; ' Constable is this a reasonable fax of the ticket you issued to my client?' Constable responds, 'Yes, sir that is the defendants copy, his signature and mine, same number at the top. Solicitor: 'Constable is there any particular marking or notation on this ticket you don't normally make?' Constable: 'Yes sir, in the lower right corner of the ticket there is 'AH', underlined. Solicitor: 'What does the 'AH' stand for, officer?' Constable: 'Aggressive and Hostile Sir.' Solicitor: 'Aggressive and Hostile?' Constable: 'Yes Sir?' Solicitor: 'Officer, are you sure it doesn't stand for A**hole?' Constable: ' Well Sir, you know your client better than I do?'

Very funny Scotty, now beam down my clothes.

On 5th March 1963, the Hula-Hoop,

a hip-swivelling toy that became a huge fad across America when it was first marketed by Wham-O in 1958, is patented by the company's co-founder, Arthur "Spud" Melina. An estimated 25 million Hula-Hoops were sold in the first four months of production alone. Melina and partner Knerr, were inspired to develop the Hula-Hoop after they saw a wooden hoop that Australian children twirled around their waists during gym class. Wham-O began producing a plastic version of the hoop, dubbed "Hula" after the hip-gyrating Hawaiian dance of the same name, and demonstrating it on Southern California playgrounds. Hula-Hoop mania took off from there.

I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least a little bit tired.

England Football

Team Management.

How hard can it be ? The F.A. have tried everything to emulate Sir Alf in 1966, but could this be the year ? If it is then all logic goes right out of the window. This new manager, Fabio Capello, has had the most successful start of recent managers. But he’s done it with an English vocabulary of just a handful of words, You, Me, Good, Not Good, Ball, Goal, Money.
