CPGA – Ottawa Professionals
Hold Spring Meeting
Professional golfers with the CPGA – Ottawa Zone attended two days of
education seminars recently at the Kanata Golf Club, followed by their
Annual Spring Meeting. It was nice timing for these meetings as that dreaded
white stuff was visible through the windows of the meeting room.
Ottawa Zone President Dale Pederson welcomed those in attendance,
with a special thanks to honorary director Mark Papousek. Dale then asked
for a moment of silence for recently deceased Life Members Sam Dempster
and Charles Pidutti. He then introduced the Executive Board Members in
attendance (2 members were absent as they were attending the Masters)
and spoke of the number of meetings he has attended already in his first year
with the CPGA Head Office and other zone representatives from across the
country. He also praised the work and initiatives being carried out by the
Board members.
Dan Kolar gave his report as the National representative for the Ottawa
Zone. He touched on the CPGA’s pursuit of sponsorships for national Back row - Harry Hereford, Jeff Corcoran, Scott Johnson, Phil Rankin, Dan Kolar.
