Coca-Cola Scholars Program For full-time undergraduate study at accredited 4-year institution in United States.


Basis for selection : Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement, depth of character, leadership, seriousness of purpose and service orientation.


Additional information : Applicant must also be tem- porary resident in legalization program, refugee, asylee, Cuban/Haitian entrant, or Humanitarian Parole. Must be attending high school in United States or terri- tories. Minimum 3.0 GPA required at the end of junior year high school. Award is for four years, $2,500 or $5,000 per year. Notification begins November 30 for semifinalists; end of February for finalists. Children and grandchildren of Coca-Cola employees not eligible.

American Public Power Association


DEED Student Research Grants Research grant for undergraduate or graduate study at accredited 2-year or 4-year institution in United States or Canada.


Eligibility : Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.


Basis for selection : Major/career interest in electron- ics; engineering, electrical/electronic or engineering, mechanical.


Application requirements : Transcript.


Additional information : Applicants must complete energy-related research project and be sponsored by DEED member utility.
