Porcelanosa has specified FILA’s award-winning surface care regime for all of its new build projects. As part of the National Housebuilder specification, Fila Deterdek will be used to clean all Porcelanosa kitchen and bathroom surfaces prior to handover. A FILA care and maintenance regime will then be recommended to all new homeowners, for the ongoing maintenance and care of porcelain surfaces.

Porcelanosa is a world-leading tile

manufacturer, with over 400 stores globally and a constantly expanding distribution network in cities including London, New York, Paris and Milan. It specialises in single-fired porous, stoneware, and porcelain wall and floor tiles - in an extensive variety of formats and finishes – and its portfolio is renowned for its high-tech properties, innovative design and quality.

On completion of tile installations, FILA Deterdek will be used to remove all grout and adhesive fixing residues from the Porcelanosa surfaces, and to provide a deep clean. Unlike traditional hydrochloric cleaners, FILA Deterdek is a non-corrosive, ‘buffered’ acid, so it doesn’t emit harmful fumes or erode aluminium or steel. Other FILA solutions recommended, as part of a complete care system, include: pH- neutral FILA Cleaner; multi-purpose spray detergent, FILA Brio; limescale remover, FILAVIA Bagno; grout protector, FILA Fugaproof and active mould remover, FILA Active One.
