“The time is right for Compusoft to show the UK what they can do...” I

n a rare interview with KBB Review magazine, Compusoft CEO Stephan Temmerman explains why now is the time to truly open up the company to the UK market…

With the recent success from the kbb show 2016 in Birmingham, Compusoft group are on track for a very successful future. Many UK kitchen and bathroom companies are familiar with the

divisions that are part of Compusoft group – EQ Software, Winner Design and Innoplus – however most would be astounded to hear the statistics around the company.

Compusoft group operates through 23 subsidiaries in 16 countries with more than 22,000 licenses installed. You may be shocked to hear that 70% of customers across Europe used to operate with a competitive CAD solution whereas only 1% of our current customers have been attracted by the competition.

While the reach of Compusoft covers many countries, CEO Stephan Temmerman has always believed that to achieve the uniformity he values so highly, the team of people must also embody that. “One of the reasons why retailers like working with us is that they can deal with genuine Compusoft people who have ALL been trained by us

in the standards we require,” he explains. “In fact, the company invests 3-5% of its turnover in staff training and around 70% of them are also shareholders. That’s a tremendous amount of knowledge embedded into the company.” The company’s success has grown 12% year on year with a turnover of €40m last year alone. In 2012 Compusoft acquired British business management company EQ Software - providing the only fully integrated kbb solution in the UK kbb market.

“We have a huge market share across Europe and now we’re ready to open ourselves up to the UK with all the solutions we have to offer,” Stephan says. “Our philosophy has always been to have consistency across everything we do to make retailers’ lives easier and that’s why they choose us.” While the ease of use is incredibly important, there is equal value in what Temmerman calls ‘the data’. In other words, the availability of full product

catalogues from manufacturers within the software. “Data is key to the success of Compusoft,” he says. “Previously, companies were set up by well- meaning software developers who only thought about producing the product. They weren’t interested in registering data, but it was a clear strategic necessity to make sure every product was there. We were building something for the long term, meaning that now we’re much more extensive than any other product.

“We have a very powerful message and the time is right to let everyone know just what we can achieve by working together.”
