ased in Newton Aycliffe in County Durham, Appletree Joinery Products Ltd have been producing timber based kitchen accessories for over 25 years and now supply some of the major kitchen companies across the United Kingdom with all their specialist timber accessories, such as wine and plate racks, pilasters, feature end panels, canopies, mantels and more.
For the last six years, they have operated from
three factories totalling 65000sf in Newton Aycliffe, with the two new factories being purely for product finishing. Across the three sites, the company now has four automated spray lines and fifteen spray booths for hand spray finishing. The company continues to invest in new machinery in an effort to improve efficiencies, as it looks for more new business in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom market places.

Trade Mouldings announce new stock door ranges
The Fira Gold accredited door and moulding manufacturers have launched 4 new stock ranges. Following on from the success of Aura and Boston super matt doors, Sofia offers a contemporary take on the slab door design featuring an ultra-narrow frame and recessed panel. Stocked in the latest dove grey and white super matt vinyl, the 22mm thickness also adds to the contemporary, high end aesthetic of the range.
Trade Mouldings have also added to their Gemini handle less range, with strong sales in the existing white and cream gloss finishes, Gemini is also now stocked in dove grey and white super matt and is also 22mm thick. Both ranges feature Trade Mouldings’ range of accessories including curved doors and are designed to replicate the appearance of painted doors with the durability of vinyl. Along with the existing stock ranges Gemini and Sofia are available on a rapid delivery or made to order.
