Water & Energy Saving
Full No Frost Fridge Freezer from Lec R
efrigeration specialist Lec has added to its A+ cooling range by introducing a full No Frost combi fridge freezer.
The TF55185W is a 230litre total capacity freestanding fridge freezer with an A+ energy
rating and full No Frost technology, which means a fan distributes cooler air evenly inside the appliance to prevent accumulation of ice or frost on the walls and food.
The appliance, which is 55cm wide and 1.8m tall, also features reversible doors and recessed handles. Available in white, LEC’s latest energy efficient appliance is equipped with LED lighting, an LED touch control technology and an adjustable, dual control thermostat. Inside the 155litre net capacity fridge are two glass shelves, a salad drawer and wine rack, as well as door storage. Unlike many appliances of this size, the 75 litre freezer has four spacious drawers, to make the space practical and easy to manage. Kathy Koomson, Head of Category for refrigeration at Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, said: “Full No Frost products offer so many benefits to consumers, not least removing the need for defrosting. Because no frost is generated, and therefore the moisture is not condensed, this provides higher quality freezing which helps to preserve the flavour and nutritional properties of food. “The 55cm market is a growth area and we believe this energy efficient product will suit busy families.”
