Trade mouldings’ new ranges in strong Demand K
BB 2016 proved successful for family owned and operated kitchen and bedroom door manufacturer Trade Mouldings, who used the exhibition to officially launch their Boston and Aura doors; both of which are finished in the latest super matt vinyl’s.
Both ranges are stocked in the company’s three distribution centres, Cookstown N.I, Dublin R.O.I and Rochdale for immediate delivery and are also available in made to order options. The latest additions take the stock range of kitchen doors to forty five.
Boston, a classic shaker design without groves is stocked in cashmere, dove grey, fjord, mussel and white all in the latest super matt finish. Aura, a minimalist slab design is stocked in dove grey and white, again in a super matt finish. Boston and Aura have also been FIRA GOLD accredited and feature a full range of accessories including a curved door. “The reaction from the visitors to the stand was very encouraging. Kitchen and bedroom manufacturers are being asked for pastel type colours in smooth matt finishes, the new super matt vinyl’s fill that gap in the market and offer a cost effective alternative to painted product. Customers were very positive about the look and feel of the super matts with some placing display orders on the day. The new colours were also popular amongst bedroom retailers where painted bedroom doors are difficult to source. The Buckingham range of five-piece woodgrain PVC doors also proved popular as retailers can offer six
colours in PVC at one price and not overpainted” comments Andy Marshall, National Sales Manager. Trade Mouldings also used the exhibition to display a number of prototype doors which were well received, including a new integrated handle design. A number of prototypes are now being considered for production. There was strong interest in the Odyssey acrylic, laser edged range available in
matching or two tone edge along with a full complement of accessories.
