Water & Energy Saving
Reduce your bills and save energy A
s utility prices continue to increase, water-saving bathroom products can make a real difference to the cost of running your customer’s home by saving a significant amount of water and energy. The Water Label scheme is a good reference point as it works in a similar way to the scheme for white goods which displays coloured bars to indicate energy efficiency, so is already familiar to most consumers. EcoSmart, AirPower and Select are all technologies which reduce water bills and, as there is less water to heat, save energy costs too, yet without compromising on design or enjoyment.

Look for products which include water- saving technology, such as Hansgrohe’s EcoSmart products which give excellent performance with water consumption reduced by around 50% compared to non- EcoSmart products. EcoSmart showers drop from 18 litres per minute to 9 litres per minute using AIRPower technology which saves water
Modern thermostatic and manual showers can also be programmed during installation not to go above a certain temperature which saves energy and, of course, avoids scalding. In addition, encourage your customers to consider the total cost over time instead of just the product’s purchase price. When low quality products start to go wrong, high quality products continue to deliver for the long-term and ensure a sustainable investment.

Hansgrohe - Improve Your Shower Experience at the Touch of a Button
H
ansgrohe has set a new benchmark with its innovative Croma Select range. For the first time, the Croma collection features Select technology – making it easy to switch between spray modes at the intuitive touch of a button. Easy handling and attractive design ensure a more comfortable and pleasurable experience in any bathroom.
Croma Select hand showers and overhead showers are available with EcoSmart technology; the combination of a flow limitation system and flow-optimised spray disc reduces water flow to 9 litres per minute. This means that less energy is required to heat the water, which not only saves money, but also natural resources. The Croma Select family consists of hand showers, overhead showers and showerpipes. The showerheads are available with a choice of one, or up to three spray modes, and in two different shapes: round or square with rounded corners. All products have a two-toned finish with a white shower face and a shiny chrome casing and an ergonomic handle.
