BB saw the exclusive UK launch of Frames by Franke, a revolutionary new concept that integrates Franke ovens, hoods, hobs, sinks and taps into a 24-hour holistic kitchen system where you can work, cook and live at the same time. It is the first ever product range developed with absolute design synergy across all the products. The benefits are aesthetically streamlined looks, uniformity of sizes and an ergonomic workflow throughout the kitchen, all adding up to a heightened experience for the homeowner by day or night. There are 32 products in total with six ovens, hoods, hobs and sinks and eight taps, allowing for a multitude of combinations.
With open plan living culturally embedded in the UK now, Frames by Franke evolves kitchen design through its clever day and night modes that adapt perfectly to the user’s needs and surroundings. By day, products take centre stage offering maximum performance and function,
while at night their streamlined design mean they blend elegantly in to the background. For example, the low-profile uniform design of the hobs and sinks mean they are chic and practical workstations by day and at night they can be transformed into sleek storage or serving areas – perfect for parties and entertaining. Franke’s patented energy efficient Dynamic Cooking Technology features in all of the Frames multifunction ovens, with three rear heating elements allowing for varying temperatures in different parts of the oven.
Six hoods are available in choice of three styles: angled glass, downdraft and T shape. Innovative features include auto-activation when the hob is used, touch controls, automatic cut off, sleep mode, energy efficiency and a downdraft hood that automatically adjusts it height depending on the amount of extraction needed.
There are six hob models which provide flexible use across the four induction and two gas options.
Elegantly designed with Franke’s Slim Top profile, they are framed in 11mm stainless steel to match the other models in the Frames range, and can be inset or flush-mounted into the work surfaces. The six sinks in recognisable Franke Slim Top style combine exceptional form and function with a variable cover system that provides truly multi- functional work surfaces.
Complementing the sinks are a range of eight taps in the Frames range featuring the precision Swiss engineering and high quality craftsmanship for which Franke is noted. The taps range includes features such as JetClean technology to prevent limescale deposits and a Highflex flexible hose. They are available in Chrome and Décor Steel finishes and Solid Stainless Steel.
