A range for all seasons from GDHA L

eading British kitchen appliance manufacturer, Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA) took the opportunity to officially launch its newly integrated range cooking division at this year’s KBB show. The prominent GDHA stand boasted the largest display of range cookers at the show and included appliances from Stoves, Belling, New World, Britannia and Bertazzoni, plus hoods from designer cooker hood brand, Best.

Retailers at the Birmingham show were able to take a first look at a number of brand new products from Britannia and new configurations of some of their most popular existing collections - Delphi, Q Line and Fleet.

The latest addition to Britannia’s family of full- sized range cookers – Stanza – proved to be very popular. The professionally-styled 90 and 100cm twin cavity, dual fuel appliances feature a flat control panel, well-made, chunky control knobs and a new- style handle. The 90cm appliance offers five burners, including a wok burner, a large multifunction main oven and a smaller conventional oven, as well as triple glazed doors and fixed door storage compartment.

The 100cm model offers the same features with six burners and extra capacity in each oven. They are both A energy rated, have LED clocks and programmers and are available in stainless steel and black.

Also making their debut at the show were Britannia’s first ever Mini Range cookers. The new 60cm freestanding models, which feature a multifunction 55 litre net capacity oven, are available in dual fuel or electric with an induction hotplate. The new products deliver the professional aesthetic of Britannia’s full-sized range cookers but are suitable for those with less space in their kitchen. Both A energy rated models are available in a stainless steel finish and comprise a number of key features, including eight cooking functions,

telescopic shelves, a roll out storage compartment, LED clock and programmer and a triple glazed door. The induction model offers four hob zones as well as retractable control knobs, whilst the dual fuel model has four burners, including a WOK burner and cast pan supports.

Another popular attraction on the stand was the Stoves Richmond in the latest colour addition to the Colour Boutique collection – Soho Green – which featured alongside a number of appliances from family favourite, Belling.

In refrigeration, stand visitors were keen to give a closer inspection to the impressive Stoves side-by-side model – the SXS90 - and Britannia’s recently launched retro-style cooling range, Breeze, which features three A+ rated models in a variety of configurations, as well as the bold styling of Stoves’ collection of American side-by-sides.
