KBB Review

Virtual Worlds Leads CAD Development T

he hive of activity on stand G100 was unmissable at this year’s KBB Birmingham, as retailers, designers and suppliers were able to experience the latest technology developed by Logicom- Virtual Worlds.

The Virtual Worlds team put on an impressive show with classroom style training and presentations running alongside one-on-one demonstrations. Their iconic yellow chairs and 4D headsets transported a mass of visitors into the virtual world of bathrooms and kitchens, where they themselves became avatars within the designed space.

Nathan Maclean- Managing Director comments, “KBB 2016 has been a major success for Virtual Worlds. Our increased investment in the industry has secured record breaking orders from suppliers and retailers, who were clearly impressed with the advancements made”.

Virtual Worlds ONE is their all-inclusive subscription service that provides a unified future ready solution for designing, pricing and presenting room designs.

As an extension to Virtual Worlds 4D, ‘Room in Box’ sees end consumers take their new kitchen or

bathroom home at time of purchase, in what is a retailer branded Google cardboard 4D viewer. With the 4D design posted to their smart phone, which is then placed inside the viewer, the end consumer will wow their friends at home as they step inside their new Virtual World.

Stonearth wowed at Kbb show S

tonearth wowed visitors at Kbb with their luxurious designs at competitive prices. Stonearth create unique, elegant bathrooms out of 100% natural materials. With a range of different basin and washstand styles and a mix and match system of creating your ideal bathroom, it is easy to see how they gained so much popularity over the 4- day event.

Stonearth wowed the onlookers yet again with their magnificent travertine bathtub, which took centre stage at their stand. The bath certainly did

draw in the crowds but it was the classic, elegant and natural designs on display that attracted the most attention. Stonearth’s stand was an oasis in a maze of plain white stands. It supplied a unique alternative using completely natural materials to create luxurious stone and wood natural bathrooms. One visitor said:

“I walked around the whole show and didn’t see anything unique until I came to Stonearth’s stand.” Their stand displayed some of their most popular designs, including:

• The classic oak Finesse washstand with inset Vienna basins in travertine stone. • The chic walnut Inspire washstand with black granite Roma basins.

• The eye catching Pebble basin, which allowed visitors to see how natural shapes and designs can transform a bathroom into a unique space.
