Versatility based on concepts - Nolte Küchen at kbb Birmingham G

erman manufacturer Nolte Küchen is a relative newcomer to kbb Birmingham. This year, the company participated with its own stand for the third time. It was their most impressive performance yet, demonstrating the versatility of the core range with six exemplary displays. Stand N90 opposite the entrance to Hall 18 was designed around texture, colour and style. Wood decors and veneers as well as lacquers took an important role here. They are at the heart of two major concepts that provide easy access to the core range while leaving enough room for choice and individuality. UK Country Manager Bob Marsden explains: “Our 2015 Matt Lacquer Concept, which we showcased in the UK for the first time, has this year been joined by the Wood Concept based on ARTWOOD and LEGNO. The new door options should be seen as additions to the existing ranges, offering the choice of a realistically textured MFC surface and an oak veneer for individual combinations with high-gloss or matt finishes from the respective price range. The

underlying concepts allow the expert to approach the sales conversation via material, budget, style, colour or texture and thus narrow down what at first glance seems an overwhelming portfolio.” The kitchens in Birmingham illustrated this approach. There were examples of ARTWOOD and LEGNO in contemporary layouts, including handle- less designs and the new Pocket Doors and innovative Wall Panel System. CARISMA LACK and WINDSOR LACK from the Matt Lacquer Concept reflected the more traditional side of the portfolio. At kbb Birmingham Nolte Küchen focused on the nolte core range, with displays that after the show will be transferred to the new Westminster Showroom due to open in May.

Bob Marsden continues: “Our displays always aim to be inviting. We try and present them as lifelike as possible, including tasteful decoration, and indeed encourage all trade partners to copy that approach in their showrooms. Whilst all our kitchens are designed individually, taking into account the end customers’ requirements, they are united by a living

room approach to kitchen design with open-plan layouts, lighting or dining options and also emphasising the flexible use of units and storage space.”

The constant flow of visitors and positive feedback proved this mix to be a successful one. Customers both old and new were taken by the attention to detail inherent in the product. Quality and service were equally recognised and promise to result in a further growing dealer network after the show as well as in new projects for Nolte Küchen’s partner BK Nolte Contracts (BKNC), supplier for many of the UK’s leading house builders and developers and also present at the stand.
