RAK unveils new tiles and

bathroom designs at KBB 2016 S

tunning new bathroom and tile collections, displayed throughout a series of elegant roomsets, joined RAK’s impressive line-up at KBB 2016. New ranges on show included Harmony - an Italian-designed range of sanitaryware, basins and furniture - whilst RAK’s new porcelain surfaces, in a range of dazzling designs, adorned surfaces. With its curved lines and sleek design features, new Harmony creates a sought-after spa-like look. The new range includes formats to suit all room sizes – from his and her bathrooms, to compact cloakrooms, in domestic and contract environments. Its five WC options include a close coupled, back to wall and wall hung design, and a matching back to wall and wall hung bidet – which each gently taper from the base to a curved pan. All WC’s are complemented by the new RAK Obelisk cisterns and concealed hanging frame in 6/3ltr or 4.5/3ltre - and a quick release soft close seat and cover promotes easy cleaning.

Matching basins are offered in a wide rectangular ‘statement’ format and a half moon design with a full or half pedestal. There are also three on trend counter-top washbasins, in oval, rectangle and circular designs, and a new range of chrome Harmony taps, in high-rise and short formats, with angular or curved spouts.

RAK’s Harmony furniture completes the look and brings a host of practical features to the range. The contemporary-styled units have a high gloss white painted finish and are offered in widths of 90cms and 120cms. Design features include an open shelf over a push/release drawer and ambient strip lighting, which provides subtle night-time illumination. Other RAK storage options include a variety of mirror-fronted cabinets, incorporating sensor switches, back lights, shaver sockets, demister pads and – for music in the bathroom - Bluetooth compatibility.

New surface collections on show at KBB included Cronto, Coheba, Metropol, Newport and Zig Zago

Tile Collections, which collectively bring 55 new designs to RAK’s range. Decorative Cronto is an encaustic-styled tile in a mix of plain and patterned designs, whilst new Coheba includes large format stone-effects and a mixed tone mosaic. Metropol provides natural grey and beige effects, with matching 3D decors, whilst Newport includes a selection of square and rectangular ‘urban-look’ tiles. The fifth new tile collection presented at KBB - Zig Zago - features a stunning zig-zag pattern for walls. It includes a range of muted colour tones and a highly decorative mixed-tone tile in beige/golden and blue/grey schemes. All of the new designs feature in RAK’s new Tile Collection brochure, which was also launched at the show.
