British Ceramic Tile sponsors the UK’s first National Tile Week B
ritish Ceramic Tile is set to sponsor the UK’s first National Tile Week 11-18 April - just in time for the double May Bank holiday when consumers look to start their latest DIY projects. A number of British Ceramic Tile’s retailers have been invited to take part and will be equipped with a range of information and marketing materials to help consumers feel confident when choosing and installing tiles. Retailers taking part will also receive exclusive promotions and deals throughout the week, as well as a chance to earn extra British Ceramic Tile Reward Club points.
With extra discounts on offer on British Ceramic Tile’s HD collection, those retailers taking part in National Tile Week will be encouraged to pass on the savings to their customers as an incentive to drive sales during
this key time of the year. There will also be prizes up for grabs for both consumers and the hero retailer who is the ultimate champion of National Tile Week.
The sponsorship of National Tile Week sits alongside British Ceramic Tile’s recently launched Retailer Club, which offers premium retailers an enhanced level of support and reward scheme as a thank you for their continued business support over the last few years.
British Ceramic Tile’s marketing manager Jayne Adamson comments: “National Tile Week is a huge step for the company and the tile industry itself. It’s a week solely aimed at celebrating tiles in all their glory and with the help of our loyal retailers, we hope to help educate the public on the versatility and
usability of tiles in the home. It’s an unmissable opportunity for all.”
As part of National Tile Week, British Ceramic Tile will be offering discount on the entire HD collection, which also includes new products recently launched at kbb Birmingham. On offer will be the newly launched Laurel, a luxurious white carrara marble effect available in a matt finish, in a 248x498mm wall tile with a coordinating large format 498x498mm floor tile. A matching hex multi-use porcelain tile in a 175x202mm size is also available.
Also on offer is Accolade, a brand new range created using the latest 3D HD printing techniques to create an elegant wave effect on a ceramic tile. Available in two colours, oak and grey, Accolade features a matt finish, while there is a coordinating multi use riven tile, both in a 298x498mm size.
Finally, retailers will be able to offer consumers the chance to purchase Medal, a new opulent marble-effect ceramic tile printed using British Ceramic Tile’s new HD Ultra technology. HD Ultra offers four times the resolution of the existing HD range, producing an unmistakable finish with even the smallest of details captured and recreated on a tile. Available in conker in either a 298x498mm gloss wall or matt finished tile that is suitable to use on walls and floors.
