UV-stable IP66 pole mount enclosures R
OLEC has launched its new technoPLUS IP66-rated enclosures – offering the best technical features of its die cast aluminium cases
in a range of advanced UV-stable plastic housings. The technoPLUS range features a dedicated pole/mast attachment
bracket for horizontal or vertical mounting on poles, masts, lamp posts and other street furniture. The enclosures are manufactured from ASA LURAN so they do not degrade in sunlight, making them ideal for outdoor pole mounted applications such as base stations, monitoring equipment, and detection equipment.
Each technoPLUS enclosure is pre-moulded with screw ports at the rear for fitting the mast attachment so no machining is needed. Hinged lid trims hide all the mounting and fixing screws for added security and superior weather protection. The lid is recessed to enable accurate assembly of a membrane keypad or label. Retaining straps hold the lid in place. The enclosure can be installed
with the lid closed, helping to protect any fragile electronics inside. The new technoPLUS enclosures are available with IP66 or IP67 protection ratings and in five sizes ranging from 130 x 90 x 70 mm to 270 x 170 x 90 mm. Prices start at £25. Case parts are moulded in UV stabilised ASA LURAN (UL 94 HB) with
a two-degree mould slope for casting ejection. They are fully insulated (VDE 0100). Standard colours are Light Grey (RAL 7035) with Window Grey (RAL 7040) polypropylene (PP) lid straps and Stone Grey (RAL 7030) plastic polyoxymethylene lid trims. The optional pole/mast attachment is ASA LURAN, Stone Grey (RAL 7030). ROLEC technoPLUS is certified to GOST R (Russian Standards). The
standard gasket is silicone (-50°C to +140°C). An EMC gasket (-55°C to +160°C) is also available. Accessories include the mast/pole attachment and an internal
mounting plate. A wide range of customising options is available: CNC milling and drilling, silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos, assembly of components.
