elcoming a host of key industry players, Micro | Nano | MEMS 2015
exhibition will feature an exciting line-up of new and returning companies showcasing the cutting-edge in everything from precision engineering equipment and microfabrication techniques to solutions and technologies right down to the micron scale. Returning once again this year, OpTek Systems will be showcasing its latest precision laser micromachining, laser processing, automation and inspection systems. Headquartered in Abingdon, UK, with facilities in Europe, Asia and North America, OpTek Systems is a global provider of precision laser micromachining solutions, delivered as both production equipment and sub- contract laser processing services. OpTek Systems: Stand G5 Laser Lines, a leading supplier of lasers and accessories, 3D printers, rapid prototyping machines and vacuum casting systems will be on hand to offer advice on the company’s advanced training, installation, maintenance and repair services for all its products. The company also has a sub-contract facility for 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing requirements. Laser Lines is an established supplier of laser systems for micro-machining and other materials processing applications.
The company will be exhibiting its Piccolase welder and its Ulyxe marker. This solution is a very compact and economical unit for the direct part marking of metals, plastics and composites. Laser marking offers a solution for marking that cannot be removed and permits full traceability during the lifetime of the component. Laser Lines: Stand G9 Challenges often arise when designing
for micro moulding that can present unforeseen road blocks. To help solve some of the key issues, Accumold will be showcasing its latest advanced techniques in micro injection moulding. Accumold: Stand F1
INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITOR BASE Laser Micromachining will be offering advice on its contract laser manufacturing services, combining fast turnaround with high-quality results in all materials. LML’s expertise allows companies to evaluate complex product designs quickly and cost-effectively, shortening time to market for a wide range of micro-products. LML has one of the widest ranges of laser machining tools in the UK and can take your ideas from proof-of-concept parts through to high-volume manufacturing, all from a single facility in the UK. An eclectic mix of micro precision tooling and equipment specialists for nano and
microfabrication will be exhibiting the cutting- edge in this diverse field
digital microscopy solutions, which incorporate 170 years of Zeiss optical expertise with the latest imaging technology. Carl Zeiss: Stand G13 Zurich Instruments will be exhibiting its latest MFLI instrument for low- frequencies. The company makes lock-in amplifiers and phase-locked loops that have revolutionised instrumentation in the high-frequency and ultra-high- frequency ranges by combining frequency-domain tools and time- domain tools within each product. This reduces the complexity of laboratory set- ups, thus removing sources of potential problems and so allows researchers to focus on their experiments. Zurich Instruments: Stand J14 Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) will
also be at the show. The organisation aims to connect people to speed up innovation, solve problems and find markets for new ideas. Established by Innovate UK to build better links between science, creativity and business, KTN’s expertise is in connecting sectors, disciplines and skills with the right collaborations and businesses to help unlock the tremendous hidden value across the industry. KTN: Stand H15 Commercial Micro Manufacturing
(CMM) Magazine will be presenting its specialist industry focused publication. The publication helps an international audience of Micro, Nano and MEMS engineers identify, evaluate and select the most commercially viable manufacturing technologies for their business. CMM: Stand E3
