Yorba Linda, CA — B&K Precision has introduced its latest programmable triple output DC power supplies, the 9130B Series. The new linear triple output power supply line offers three isolated out- puts that can be adjusted independently or com- bined in series or parallel to output higher voltage or current. Each model in the series offers a different

configuration of variable output voltage and cur- rent on two channels: 0-30V, 0-3A (9130B); 0-30V, 0-6A (9131B); and 0-60V, 0-3A (9132B). The third channel output is rated at 0-5V, 0-3A for all mod- els. With a compact 19-in. half-rack form factor and fully programmable outputs, these DC power supplies are practical tools for use in a variety of applications including production testing, auto- mated test, and circuit design. Triple output power supplies give users the

flexibility to configure multiple chan- nels to meet their application needs. Each output can be used independ- ently or connected in series or paral- lel with other channels. This allows for various output configurations such as positive and negative out- puts for powering bipolar circuits and devices. All models in the 9130B Series

have high programming and read- back resolution of 1 mV, 1 mA with low noise and excellent load regula- tion. In addition, each model pro- vides constant voltage (CV) and con- stant current (CC) modes, a bright vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) indicating each channel output con-

New SMS Shields from Leader Tech

Tampa, FL — Leader Tech has added 30 new styles and sizes of Surface Mount Shields to its full line of EMI shielding products. Sample and prototype volumes of the compa- ny’s new one- and two-piece unvent- ed SMS Shields are ready to ship in as little as 24 hours with production run volumes in just days.

currently, and convenient cursor keys with rotary control knob for precise voltage and current set- tings.

Flexible series and parallel combination modes

on the 9130B Series allow users to conveniently meter channels connected in series or parallel. Tracking mode is also available for maintaining a user-defined ratio between outputs, which allows for easy simultaneous adjustments across multiple channels. The rear panel offers output terminals with

remote sense connections and standard USB (USBTMC-compliant), RS232, and GPIB inter- faces supporting SCPI commands for remote pro- gramming. Users can easily control their instru- ment, generate test sequences, and log data via the provided PC software or NI-certified LabVIEW

driver. Contact: B&K Precision Corporation, 22820

Shields designed for PCB mounting.

The expanded series of SMS

circuit board shields are manufac- tured from 0.008-in. tin-plated steel or Alloy 770 and are a cost-effective option for most automated manufac- turing (pick-and-place) applications. These shields provide superior shielding effectiveness up to 60dB for boards that do not require venti- lation holes in the cover. The two-piece shield variations

offer cover retention of 1.5 to 2.5 lb./linear inch and provide easy access for rework and assembly. All Leader Tech SMS Shields are deliv- ered in convenient tape-and-reel

packaging. Contact: Leader Tech, 12420
