Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, UK — Nordson DAGE, a division of Nordson Corporation (NAS- DAQ: NDSN), is presenting the 4800 wafer level Bondtester for the first time in North America. The Bondtester is described as being at the fore- front of wafer testing technology, developed for testing wafers from 200 up to 450mm. Intuitive and intelligent Nordson DAGE Paragon™ soft- ware provides the ultimate flexibility for the cre- ation and mapping of wafers, enabling quick and precise setup of test patterns. The virtual images for each test pattern enable easy editing. Nordson DAGE is also highlighting its award-
winning 4000Plus Bondtester Camera Assist Automation System, which is well suited for pull- and-shear testing of wafer intercon- nections, lead frames, hybrid microcir- cuits or automotive electronic pack- ages. In addition, the company is demonstrating X-Plane™ and CT options. X-Plane uses a proprietary, patent applied for, tomosynthesis, or CT technique to create 2D X-ray slices

in any plane of a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) without the need to cut or destroy the board. The company’s XM8000 Wafer Metrology
Platform provides an automated, high-throughput X-ray metrology and defect review system for both optically hidden and visible features of TSVs, 2.5D and 3D IC packages, MEMS and wafer bumps. It provides exceptional, non- destructive, in-line wafer measurement of voiding and fill levels, over-
lay and critical dimensions. Contact: Nordson DAGE, 2370 Oak Ridge

and identify cable locations on jacks or through walls. Wire bundles are easily penetrated with the tapered probe tip and the probe volume is controlled with a thumbwheel. With common send and receive frequen- cies, the TP150 is versatile enough to be used with other tone generators or probes. The probe has a recessed push-
button which activates tone scanning when needed, the tapered tip allows easy penetration of cable bundles, side thumb wheel adjusts volume and turns off power to conserve bat- tery power, and it has a sensitivity of 100Hz to 300kHz. The tone genera- tor includes a slide switch to select TONE/OFF/CONT, a continuity mode to verify if a wire is broken, alligator clips to test pairs, and an RJ11 connector for data or phone lines. The TP150 Tone and Probe Set includes a carrying case, 9V batter-
ies, and user instructions. Contact: Platinum Tools, 2450
