New run for Fox Valley 7-post boxcars
HO — Fox Valley Models’ HO-scale Soo Line Fond du Lac Shops pro- totype 7-post boxcar returns at the end of this year with a new produc- tion. The X-panel roof examples will see CSX (blue with yellow reporting marks and data), Soo Line (Boxcar Red with white lettering and dashed sill stripes), Soo Line (white with red
door and lettering), and Wisconsin Central (maroon with gold lettering). The diagonal-panel roof variation will be available in Burlington North- ern (Cascade Green with large white “BN” herald), BNSF (brown with white “wedge” logo), Great Northern (Gla- cier Green with red door and separate placards for herald and cushioned
underframe labeling), and Montana Rail Link (blue with red-and-white lettering).
This fully assembled HO-scale box- car will sell for $30.95 and will include separately applied metal grab irons, ladders, etched-metal end crossover platform over couplers, metal wheels, and metal Kadee knuckle couplers.
