Cape Town Carnival The Cape Town Carnival is an exuberant celebration of African identity. This year’s theme focuses on the elements – earth, fire, water and air. A firework display will kick off the parade at 7pm, before 2,000 costumed dancers, musicians and performers take to the streets of Fanwalk in Greenpoint.
