DEBORAH HOGG Manager of procurement, EMEA and APAC, Inventiv Health Clinical UK Deborah is a procurement specialist at Inventiv Health Clinical, a leading global clinical research organisation (CRO). She has been with Inventiv for one year, but has over 16 years’ experience in the procure- ment and facilities sector, working mainly for corporate global organisations such as BAE, Pepsi Co, Cushman and Wakefield, and PRA, another leading CRO. Currently she manages the procurement and supply chain for 37 countries across EMEA and APAC. Deborah provides a first-class service in an environment where the re- quirements of employees and clients are understood, and she enables employees to maximise efficiencies for the organisation.


IKE IHENACHO Head of global travel, expense and meetings, Mondelez International Ike heads up global travel, expense and meetings at Mondelez International, one of the world’s largest snacks com- panies. He is also a director on the ITM board. Ike’s career has included senior positions at Siemens, JP Morgan Chase, Nokia and BCG. He has an MBA from Oklahoma City University and a Masters in International Procurement (MIP) from Bordeaux Business School, and holds an MCIPS from The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.


GABRIELA KLAZAR Buyer and travel manager, EMEA, Stanley Black and Decker


Gabriela has been with Stanley Black and Decker (SBD) for 11 years, managing the comprehensive travel programme for SBD EMEA for the last three-and-a-half years. She started in her travel manager role when Stanley and Black and Decker merged, and she was in charge of imple- menting the global travel programme in the EMEA region. The team implemented ten countries in eight months. A year later,

SBD acquired a new business in the security sector, where again she was in charge of rolling out the SBD travel programme in all EMEA countries for this new business, and implemented a further eight countries in six months.


CAROL NEIL Head of corporate travel, EMEA, Nomura Winner of the 2014 Travel Buyer of the Year Award, Carol is head of corpo- rate travel, EMEA, for Nomura, the Asian global investment bank. She is responsible for the delivery and development of all travel services to Nomura Group com- panies in EMEA and the management of all related personnel, suppliers, tech- nology and expenditure. Globally, Carol manages Nomura’s relationship with major international airlines, hotel groups, and the firm’s global travel management company. Furthermore, she also plays a key role in ensuring all regions work co-operatively in line with a co-ordinated strategy.


PETER QUINN Category manager, Steria Peter is category manager for Steria, an IT and business process services outsourcing company. He has worked for them for over 13 years, and has nearly 19 years’ procurement experience. He is responsible for all indirect spend, and has been responsible for the travel category for over three years.

MIKE TOYNBEE Managing editor, Buying Business Travel With more than 35 years’ experience of editing business travel publications, Mike is one of the industry’s most experi- enced and longest-serving editors. He was the founder editor of Executive Travel in 1979, remaining with the publication until 1997, and was the launch editor of Buying Business Travel in 2003.
