Hurtigruten serves up whisky-themed cruise on expedition ship
Hurtigruten is set to host a whisky- themed cruise onboard Fram. Two oak barrels of 21- and
25-year-old Scotch whisky have spent almost a year travelling the world’s oceans on the Norwegian specialist line’s expedition ship. The themed itinerary will be
hosted by lecturer and whisky expert Bernard McGee on a two-day cruise from Bergen to Hamburg departing on October 2. McGee will offer an insight into the history of whisky, with facts about taste and distillation. The newly bottled Fram whisky and
other speciality whiskies that have matured while at sea will be available to sample. The whisky will be available
to purchase and sample only onboard Fram. Prices start at £165, excluding flights and transfers.
