Etihad reveals new daily Edinburgh-Abu Dhabi service Ian Taylor
Etihad Airways will begin daily flights from Edinburgh to Abu Dhabi next June, giving access to services on to Asia, Australia and Africa.
The service will
operate from June 8, 2015, departing Edinburgh at 09.15 and returning overnight.

EasyJet grows network with nine new routes in the UK this autumn
EasyJet has added nine routes from the UK this autumn – about one-third of its network growth for the season. The carrier will start a three- times-a-week Gatwick-Reykjavik
Kong in 2015. Daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Kolkata will begin on February 15,
daily services to Entebbe on
May 1 and a four-times-a-week service to Hong Kong on June 15. Etihad will also serve Brisbane
service on October 27 and twice-weekly flights from Belfast International to Reykjavik on December 12. EasyJet already flies to the Icelandic capital from Luton, Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh. Two new routes will launch from Luton: to Naples from October 29 and to Munich from November 3. Both services are four days a week.

Liverpool gains Blue Air flights to Bucharest Romanian carrier Blue Air will offer services three times a week from Liverpool to Bucharest this winter, starting mid-December. Services will operate from Liverpool on Monday at 09.45, and Wednesday and Friday at 18.00.

Kazakhstan scraps visa for visits up to 15 days Britons visiting Kazakhstan may travel visa-free to the country from this week as long as their stay does not exceed 15 days. The national carrier, Air Astana, began operating direct services between Heathrow and Astana last month, having previously flown to Almaty.
