A number of leading brands have been lauded in the RSVP Beauty Awards 2014. RSVP’s resident beauty columnist Alex Hatton and leading Irish beauty experts put together the list of winners, which includes a number of top professional brands.


Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant was named Best Daily Exfoliator, whilst Neal’s Yard Remedies’ Beauty Sleep Concentrate was thought to be the Best Night Cream.


Judged by make-up artist Kate Nooan, Chris Krenzer’s Loose Mineral Foundation was described as a “beauty gem” winning Best Mineral Foundation, whilst the brand’s Sensitive Mineral Mascara was named as Best Mascara for Sensitive Eyes. Billion Dollar Brows was handed the title of Best Brow Fill for their Universal Brow Pencil.


Best Nail Range went to Essie nail polish, described as “the Rolls Royce of nail polish”.


A number of professional tanning products were recognised, with Académie Bronz’ Express Gel named Best Tan for Face, Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter 1 Hour Tan announced as Best Tan for Body, and Best Instant Tan awarded to Karora. Best Bronzer was handed to TanOrganic’s Duo Bronzer.


What’s more, our industry was recognised further with Evanna Breen of Akina Beauty Salon in Temple Bar, Dublin named as Best Facial Therapist, and ESPA Age Defyer, offered at the Maryborough Hotel & Spa in Cork, named Best Anti Age Treatment.
