Spartan Light Metal Receives Toyota Quality Recognition Spartan轻金属获得丰田质量认可

America Inc. (TEMA) recognized Spartan Light Metal Products, St. Louis, Mo., USA, a supplier of aluminum and magnesium custom diecasting, as an “Excellent Quality Performance Award” winner in March. Spartan was one of 17 Toyota suppliers to receive this
award, and one of only three wholly U.S.-based companies to receive it. Spartan’s Hannibal, Mo., plant also recently distinguished itself as it marked more than six years without a lost time accident. “Toyota works closely with each supplier partner to build
our vehicles to the high-quality, safety and reliability standards our customers expect,” said Robert Young, TEMA’s purchas- ing vice president. “We are pleased to award those in our sup- ply base who go above and beyond. Tis event emphasizes our mutual commitment with supplier partners to continuously improve to build ‘always better cars’ in North America.” Spartan, a family-owned business, has been an industry
leader specializing in designing, developing, validating and producing diecastings as well as machining and component assemblies for more than 50 years. It has three manufactur- ing facilities and offices in St. Louis, Detroit, Tokyo and Landstuhl, Germany.
