One side effect of gathering a number of Christ- followers together to learn, grow and serve a world in need of a Savior is tight-knit community. It has been a constant from the start. Of the fruit born out of Brother Bill’s dream, community may be the sweetest.


No.53 Faculty


Our unsung heroes who have touched numerous lives, pouring their gifts and talents into our students. Teir heart for Christ and building lives for His kingdom are immeasurable.


No.54 Man Olympics


Just one of the popular and memorable events hosted by Student Life. Painting your face green, wearing a cape and jumping into a pit of mud might not sound very academic but it has been good entertainment and one way to burn off testosterone!


No.55 Warrior Arena


Te new 1,018-seat gymnasium for basketball and volleyball also features new athletic offices and a training room. Te facility has four team rooms and showers, five athletic staff offices, a training and therapy room with state-of-the-art hydrotherapy equipment, laundry facility and a video recording booth located in the upper mezzanine for video playback to aid coaches and players.


No.56 San Jose Houses


In 1968, SJBC had 134 students; by 1972 there were 350. As the college expanded, homes adjacent to the college were purchased to meet the increased need for housing, classroom and office facilities. One of these homes still stands today as it is declared a historical landmark building.


No.58 Academic Courses Abroad


International opportunities for studying outside of the U.S. have increased dramatically as the university continues to grow. Jessup students now have the chance to study at Oxford, or other exciting locations including India, China, the Middle East or Australia.


No.59 Service


An essential aspect of the Christian life and spiritual formation at WJU is developing a lifestyle of service. Central to our core, our students have served others throughout our 75-year history. Currently, all Jessup students provide 30 hours of service per year to various volunteer organizations in our surrounding community. From


working with the homeless to beautifying the grounds of churches to tutoring kids, Jessup students are making a difference.
