From the EDITOR
As you read this 75th anniversary commemorative issue of Jessup Magazine, the beauty of God’s tapestry will be evident in every article, feature and story. Tis issue is designed to give God the glory for His sovereign hand in building this beloved university.
Yet, what is incomplete is the sum of God’s miraculous stitching that has gone into the Creator’s design for San Jose Bible College, San Jose Christian College and William Jessup University. It has been a joy to prepare this limited 32-page issue of past memories and hopes for what God has in store for the future of Jessup.
Even so, I ask you to rejoice in the simplicity of the early years of San Jose Bible College, glean from the faithful adolescent years of San Jose Christian College and prayerfully embrace the obedience displayed by those who were led to birth a new future in Rocklin, California.
As you flip through each page, comprehend each piece and study each photo. As you laugh, cry and give praise to God with each memory, be reminded that every memory shared . . . every story is praise to God’s great glory and designed by God for you for this day of remembering and rejoicing in Him.
Enjoy this special issue of Jessup Magazine. For it is Jesus Christ who is woven into everything San Jose Bible College, San Jose Christian College and William Jessup University. Glory to His great name.

Spring was a special time for Jessup, as over 250 graduates participated in commencement, including our inaugural class of master’s graduates. Dr. Jack Hayford, Chancellor at Te King’s University, delivered the commencement address and well-known Sacramento regional pastor, Dr. G. Henry Wells was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity, the third bestowed in the 75-year history of the university.
