Terms & Conditions

PASSENGER TICKET CONTRACT Tese terms and conditions summarize certain terms and conditions applicable to travel on the m/s Paul Gauguin. For more information, please see the Passenger Ticket Contract, which includes more detailed information as well as very important information regarding such things as limitations of liability. Please read the Passenger Ticket Contract carefully.

AIRLINE BAGGAGE REQUIREMENTS Te allowance per guest for checked or carry-on luggage on an aircraft depends on the policy of the applicable airline. Guests are solely responsible for any baggage fees and excess baggage fees charged an airline. We recommend that you contact the air- line directly or visit their website for luggage regulations. Please note that domestic Air Tahiti flights have a strict baggage limit of 20 kg (44 lbs) per person. Neither PGC nor the owner or manager of the ship is responsible for baggage or other personal property that is damaged, misplaced or lost by an airline

AIRPORT CHECK-IN It is recommended that all guests check in with the airline at least two (2) hours prior to departure for domestic flights and three (3) hours prior to departure for international flights.

AIR DEVIATIONS Requests for air deviations/custom air should be submitted by fax to our air/sea department no later than 90 days prior to sailing. If a request requires a different air carrier, routing or class of service, or otherwise results in any increase in airline charges, any such additional charges or costs will be the responsibility of the guest. When deviating from our standard air/sea program, guests will forfeit any transfers, hospitality services and overnight stays that may be included in the standard air/sea or land programs. A $100 per person non-refundable administrative fee will be assessed for air deviations/custom air requests. Tis fee will be added to the cruise booking.

AIR TRANSPORTATION Air transportation charges are for economy/coach or similar class of service on scheduled or charter services of IATA, U.S. or in- ternational air carriers. Designated air departure or return cities are at the discretion of PGC and are subject to change without notice. PGC reserves the right to choose the air carrier, routing and scheduling to and from each city and the right to substitute charter flights for scheduled air and vice versa. Service is subject to availability. All airfares quoted are subject to change without notice. Airfare is not guaranteed until full payment for the cruise/air package has been received and documents/airline tickets have been issued. Airline tickets issued by PGC may be restricted as a result of the type of airfare arranged. As a result, you may find that your ticket may not be reissued or exchanged for another air carrier or routing. Cancellation or rebooking charges may be assessed by the airline for any changes made to the ticket. Tese charges are the sole responsibility of the guest. PGC assumes no responsibility for seat assignments, special meal requests or the addition of frequent flyer numbers to air records and asks that the airline be contacted directly for assistance. Te service and responsibility of the air carrier used in conjunction with any PGC cruise program is subject to and limited by the “Contract of Carriage” specified by the air carrier for each ticket issued. Reconfirmation of airline schedule is suggested 72 hours prior to travel.
