General Shipboard Information Ambassadors of the Environment Youth Program

Created by explorer and environmentalist Jean-Michel Cousteau and his Ocean Futures Society, the Ambassadors of the Environment Youth Program is a unique, groundbreaking program that introduces young travelers to the extraordinary natural wonders of French Polynesia. The program aims to give young participants (aged 9 to 17) direct, hands-on, interactive experience with knowledge of marine and island ecosystems. Some of the activities that may be included in the program are lectures, day and night snorkeling, swimming with rays and sharks, onboard games and activities, cycling, rainforest hikes, and sustainable living lessons. Additional family members are invited and encouraged to attend and participate in most AOTE activities and excursions, for the additional cost of the shore excursions. This program is available on on select cruises for a nominal fee of $329-$379 per child.
