Starting salary £23,700 PA Ref: BAS 19/14.
Our research teams undertake ambitious expeditions across the glaciers and ice-shelves of Antarctica. We need climbers/mountaineers with Alpine experience. Experience as a mountain instructor/guide is advantageous.
Not that it’s all work and no play – you’ll have the time to genuinely savour and experience what Antarctica has to offer. All your essentials like food, work clothing, training and accommodation will be provided, so you’ll see a lot more of your salary when you get back.
It’s a challenge, one that’s a thousand miles from the everyday.
