Epling: The property [at their sec- ond community] is all condos of various sizes, and most of the resi- dents own them. Because we made such a colossal mistake the first time, we wanted to be absolutely positive, so we rented a condo, which was perfect for us and is working out very well. This community is spread out and offers a huge variety of pro- grams and services, including a “communiversity,” which is abso- lutely spectacular. Many of those who teach are former college professors. Before his stroke, my husband was taking a course in ge- ology, and we both took a course on presidential also-rans. We love that aspect. They also have a restaurant facility, and they do special catered meals throughout the month. Another thing we enjoy is they

have a dining-out program once a month in which they take us by bus for dinner at an upscale restaurant. The bus service will also take you into town or for doctors’ appoint- ments and various activities. They also do weekend trips, which we have taken advantage of.
