To cope with growing demand in the Channel Islands, PROAIR is hoping to establish a growing fleet of aircraft bringing with it much needed competition. The company currently offers a spectrum of aircraft ranging from a small Citations for 4 passengers, up to the larger Falcon 7X carrying 14
people. The business model for a locally based fleet may seem an obvious “no- brainer”, but to date very few are permanently situated on the island. For most travellers their aircraft is often flying in from mainland Europe, and whatever way you look at it, this adds a great deal to the cost.
The establishing of a new head office offshore in Jersey, has been favored by the company's many discreet travellers, who are often familiar with using offshore jurisdictions for their own trusts and fund management. conducted a business study on behalf of Jersey States
on the viability of a Jersey based Aircraft Registry. This project is ongoing, but could allow clients to take full advantage of tax efficient ownership structures provided through PROAIR's partner company Universal Aircraft Registry, also based in Jersey.
