KOHLRABI


Edible, turnip-like stems grow just above the ground. Flavor is a cross between cabbage and turnips, but milder and sweeter. Delicious raw or cooked and high in vitamin C. Sow in spring at 3 week intervals. Harvest when 2 to 3 inches in diameter. One ounce will plant 300 feet. An average of 8000 seeds per ounce.

LETTUCE INFORMATION–Lettuce grows best in cool weather. Plant as early as possible and successively every two weeks in spring, and again in late sum- mer for a fall crop.
