The Launch of The Sphinx 3D slot machine at G2E in Las Vegas is a game changer for GTECH’s SPIELO


The launch of the Sphinx 3D slot machine from GTECH's SPIELO gaming brand is a game-chang- er for the company. A genuine glasses-free 3D game that immerses the player completely in the gameplay, Sphinx 3D was a standout (literally) game of the G2E show in Las Vegas.


Speaking to GTECH's Marcel Heutmekers, VP Commerical Gaming, he's delighted at the reac- tion to the game at G2E and the strong portfolio of products he's delivering to his customers in the next 12 months.


"We have a very strong pipeline of products, including core games, multigames, progressive links, licensed titles and community games. Sphinx 3D is the first title in our new True 3D product line, featuring a unique, patented autostereoscopic technology with integrated eye-tracking, designed exclusively for GTECH for the gaming industry by SeeFront. This new prod- uct line, which is presented on our brand-new AXXIS™ cabinet, really shows we are leaders in innovation," states Mr. Heutmekers. "It's been the talk of the show, and I already have customers waiting to install it as soon as it's released. It's been wonderful watching customers sit, play the game, and be amazed.


Our PopCap titles are already very popular in North America, and we are now also bringing those games to International markets with four slot versions of player favourites - Plants vs. Zombies Gargantuar, Plants vs. Zombies Backyard Showdown, Zuma and Bejeweled, PopCap’s flagship title, purchased somewhere in the world every 4.7 seconds.


In addition to Sphinx 3D and the PopCap titles as well as new progressive link Volcano Island, new core games, and diversity multigames,


Mr. Heutmekers describes a pipeline of products that make up a much broader offer that is com- prised of systems and interactive, street gaming and casino slots.

WORLD LEADING BINGO GAMES


Zitro confirmed its position as world leader in the video bingo sector at G2E with Zitro USA launch and US certification


Spain’s video bingo specialist, Zitro, was present again this year at G2E Las Vegas. The Spanish company had its own stand to exhibit its latest platforms and games.


There were a number of important new features this year, with Zitro having introduced its sub- sidiary Zitro USA into the North American mar- ket and having just announced that its gaming system has been certified to operate in the US


market. “At Zitro we have been diligent in adapting our platform to the North American market. At this new edition of the Las Vegas G2E our expectations of how our product would be received were exceeded, which confirms that we are on the right track to continue our expan- sion,” said Johnny Ortiz, President of Zitro.


Meanwhile, the general manager of Zitro USA, Sam Basile, expressed his satisfaction with Zitro’s results at this Show: “Zitro has the best product, of great quality and perfectly adapted to the North American market. Visitors to our stand were able to see for themselves the versa- tility of our games and platforms.”
